I spent a long time looking outside for answers to my questions. Today I am thankful that the experiences associated with it have shown me that the answer has long been inside me, that I have all the strings in my own hands and that it is not about performance or success.

My Path to Mental Health Coaching
The Beginning
I have been working in companies and agencies in the IT sector for over 20 years. For a long time I was looking for answers on the outside: by changing jobs, positions, earning higher salaries. This was often the case in my private life as well. Performance and recognition from outside were my unconscious drivers. The career success has given me the message that everything is going well. I was often in management positions, received a higher salary and thought for a long time that everything was going in the right direction.
The Turn
With a burnout in my mid-30s, I realized the first time that it's not about my success or performance. Companies I worked for did very well without me. I began to deal with my inner being and myself for the first time – with mindfulness and meditation. I also embarked on a different career path that dealt more with the people and the processes in companies. After a few years, together with the Corona phase and after a personal setback, I got into a severe depression. I had to take a break of 9 months. The turning point for me came when, after - and not least because of - the depression: I noticed after a short time in my new job that the same process was starting all over again. It felt "remote-controlled" and not "like me". I quit, started my own business and completed various training courses that are explicitly related to people and their Mental Health.
The Obstacles
In addition to the financial insecurity, I had doubts at the beginning whether I had enough skills to accompany people on their respective paths.
It was only later that I realized that I had always enjoyed working with teams and the people around me throughout my career. As a Mentor, Coach and Colleague. Many professional stations and further training have enriched me. I have always been closer to people's values and priorities than to companies. And I realized that without healthy people who feel free, there can be no healthy environment.
The Clarity
Today I am sure that I was able to gain all this experience so that I can help people in similar situations. I'm thankful that the related experiences have shown me that the answer lies with me for a long time, that I have all the strings in my own hands and that it's not just about performance or success.
The Result: Mental Health Coaching for Humans and Business
I know how real difficult times in life can feel. Likewise, I know from personal experience that this doesn't last—that seeking outside help isn't a weakness and is sometimes just what's needed.
I am convinced that everyone has the power to emerge from crises in a self-effective and strengthened manner. I am happy to offer you my experience and help on this journey to your “true self”, which is strong and lively.
At the same time, I offer my experience as an external confidant to companies that are aware that they can only be resilient if the people who work there are too.

How I work as a Coach
The Mental Health Concept is flexible so that it can be tailored exactly to your needs. You always know what to expect and benefit from its talks, small exercises and practical work on the topic. Sometimes we follow a clear plan, sometimes we do research to get closer and closer to your authentic self.
I am working structured and focused, with a different focus at each coaching session. It is not my goal that we have as many sessions as possible – it should be be exactly what you need so that you can then continue to work on the topics on your own.
